Chandan Kumar mononymously known as 'Chandan', is an actor who works in television and Kannada cinema. He is known for his work in the television soap opera Radha Kalyana and later Lakshmi Baramma, in which he played the role of Chandu, that was aired on Colors Kannada from 2012. During the time, he was offered several films for which he had to step out of the serial mid-way. His first film to be released was Parinaya in 2014 which took two years in the making. Actor Chandan Kumar who was recently seen as the partner in crime of Samrat in Zee TV’s Doli Armaanon Ki will soon be seen playing an interesting character in Sony TV’s Adaalat (Contiloe Entertainment).
The story will revolve around two brothers, of which the elder brother would get killed in an unceremonious way. With the police starting investigation of the guy’s murder, the younger brother essayed by Chandan would start to hallucinate about the way his brother got murdered.
Chandan will play the role of Palash, an extremely doting brother. He would be shaken with the death of his elder brother, so much so that he would start to live in a dream world. The man would forever be confused, as he would start getting flashes about his brother’s murder in his dreams. According to what he has seen in his dreams, the guy would raise a finger at his brother’s close friend, to be the person who would have committed the murder.
The story titled ‘Murder Ka Murder’ would have shades of horror in the story line. The story ahead will have some interesting and stunning twists.
When contacted, Chandan told us, “Yes, I shot for an episodic of Adaalat. It is a very interesting story with quite a lot of shades to the character. I cannot reveal much though.”
Chandan who has done quite a lot of ads has essayed lead roles in a few regional shows.
